Waltham, MA, 16th August 2012; As the Director of Coaching for the MPS South region, it gives me great pleasure to announce the MPS Awards for the 2011/2012 season. This award has been nominated by the head coach of each team who have selected players on attitude, commitment and overall quality on and off the field. This award is always difficult as each player plays an integral role in each team’s continued development and success.
This season has been a successful one for both the MPS Crusaders and Lady Crusaders. The U15 and U17 Crusaders were both qualifiers for the state cup round robin tournament as were the U17 Lady Crusaders. We had a number of positive NEP league seasons including unbeaten Spring seasons for the U11 Crusaders and U17 Lady Crusaders and every team being competitive throughout. The U14 Lady Crusaders qualified for the Super Y Nationals after a strong summer season. Congratulations to every team for their performances throughout the season.
We look forward to the Crusaders and Lady Crusaders continued growth and development throughout the 2012-2013 season.
